Ophelia is headed our way and will arrive 30 years to the day of the violent storm we experienced in 1987.

Hope its not as bad as that. Doing a bike ride tommorrow which takes in Morecambe and Lancaster, so hoping for the calm before the storm. Great picture and poem.

It is fairly calm here at the moment. The image was the Midland Hotel on Morecambe Prom, but it was in high winds last month. So hopefully the calm will stay with you tomorrow.

I hope so as first time on a bike in 5 years. I will probably fall off whether the wind is blowing or not. Yes I recognise the hotel. Its a beautiful place. 🙂

Haha…we sometime bike down to the cafe on the old stone jetty for a mug of tea and a bacon butty….have a great time.

This is the strangest hurricane season ever.
I don’t believe one has touched Ireland in all of recorded history.
Sure hope you made it through safe and dry.
